Chandigarh 31st August 2016 : Department of Botany DAV College Sector 10 Chandigarh organised a lecture by Prof. A.S. Ahluwalia from Panjab University as a celebration of National Science Day -2016. Prof. Ahluwalia gave talk on ," Global warming and climate change" and expressed his concerns about increase in temperature and its impact on the human lives. He sensitised the students about environment and called upon audience to follow 5 R's - reduce , reuse , recycle, reclaim ,refuse to save Mother Earth before it's too late. The event was sponsored by Punjab state council for science and technology.Dr. Ranju Gulati,Head,Department of Botany presented vote of thanks.
