- THE ABOVE SAID DECISION TAKEN BY THE CBM MEMBERS WILL BE SENT IN WRITING TO THE UNION FINANCE MINISTER FOR THEIR CONSTIDERATION.
Chandigarh 01st Oct. 2016 : First General Body meeting of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal was held in Hotel park view attended by scores of prominent trader members of Chandigarh Beopar Mandal representing various markets of the city
The meeting took after 5 months after the new President Anil Vohra was elected.
In his welcome speech Anil Vohra the new president of CBM highlighted the activities undertaken by the new body over trader issues
Particular to be mentioned were deferring of amendment in form 15 by the excise and taxation department for which the persuasion had to be done even to Union Minister RajNath Singh.The role of Sanjay Tandon local BJP Chief and Madam Kirron Kher, MP in getting this relief was applauded
President gave briefing about various meetings with different departments as well as positive role of CBM in protecting the affected parties during survey and raids by excise and taxation as well as income tax Department
The most recent meeting to be mentioned was with that with CIT 1 and CIT2 of Income tax department for asking them to not to harass the general traders for making success of the Voluntary Income declaration scheme ending 30th Sept 2016.
Mr Ram Karan Gupta Advisor CBM gave briefing about different provisions of GST being chairman VAT subcommittee
Diwakar Sahoonja Patron cum official spokes person CBM appealed for strengthening the trader unity and to contribute towards better functioning of CBM by each and everyone member without caring about recognition.
