Mann kibaat by Prime Minister of
India.. Plant Trees
Members of Chandigarh Traders Association, Sector 17 Chandigarh, assembled atSector 17 under the Presidentship of Shri Kamaljit Singh Panchhi for a Tree Plantation Drive on World Environment Day. This is a noble cause which will flourish in coming monsoon.This cause will also help in proving the problem of Global Warming. This inspiration came from our worthy Prime Minister of India who suggested during his Mann Ki Baat on 28th May 2017.
On this
occasion, Mr. Panchhi requested to the Traders to keep water and air pollution
free. The Campaign aims creating awareness among people of Chandigarh for clean
and green environment in Chandigarh and appeals to the Traders and general
public to plant at least one tree at different places of the city during coming
rainy season.
Mr.
Panchhi further said by the next 10 years, earth will become four degree hotter
than its now. Himalayan glaciers are melting at a rapid rate, so all of us lend
our hand to fight global warming. Plant more trees, don’t waste water ,Don’t
use or burn plastics. The members were convinced about the usefulness of such
plantation drives and promised that they will plant a tree for the better
future of all living human beings.
On this
occasion Traders pledge that our gift to Mother Earth on her birthday will be a
pledge to always LIVE GREEN, THINK GREEN AND ACT GREEN. On this day we shall be
this planet’s Green warriors.
