Prof. Anupama Sharma took charge of Dean Alumni Relations, PU

 

        Prof. Anupama Sharma, Dr. S. S. Bhatnagar University Institute of Chemical

Engineering & Technology, Panjab University, Chandigarh took charge as Dean Alumni

Relations and Secretary PUAA from Prof. Deepti Gupta, Professor and Chairperson,

Department of English, PU for a period of one year.     Prof. Deepti Gupta, was Dean

Alumni Relations for a period of two years and initiated many activities involving PU

Alumni which also includes the Global Meet held in November 2019.

        Prof. Anupama Sharma is Professor since July 2011 in UICET. She has over 20

years of experience of teaching and research. She said that all steps will be taken in

line with already initiated activities for PUAA. Her main focus will be to strengthen

the Alumni Association and organizing the Global Meet scheduled for January 2021.

        She is Coordinator for World Bank sponsored project TEQIP since 2014. She is

also Coordinator, Energy Research Center, PU. She has executed research project worth 5

cores from AICTE, DST,CSIR,UGC, DRDO etc.
