Kamakshi Khanna Collective, Neeraj
Arya’s Kabir Café, Jonita Gandhi’s Band and Usha Uthup took the hills by a
storm
Kasauli,
April 15, 2017: After an exhilarating closing to the first day of the 6th
edition of Genesis Foundation’s #KasauliRnB, the second day began with a crowd of
over 550 music enthusiasts filled with anticipation of much more fun to come. The
musical event witnessed people coming from across the country to enjoy the best
known Indian bands in the cool breeze of Kasauli Hills. The three-day long
music extravaganza is being held at Baikunth Resorts, Kasauli till April 16, 2017.
KasauliRnB is now one of the
most popular music festivals of the country, with its own cult following. The
second day of the festival began with a session on Meditation With Music, led
by Tritha Sinha. After the relaxing meditation, it was time to take the adrenaline
levels up a few notches, and that was what the Delhi Drum Circle did.
As afternoon merged into evening, the stage
came alive with a rocking performance by Kamakshi Khanna Collective. She began
her performance with the title track of her latest Album, Cake Walk.
Following her high-octane performance was
Neeraj Arya’s Kabir Collective, the lyrics of which are inspired by the verses
of the famous poet, Kabir. As the sun came down to hide behind the hills,
Jonita Gandhi performed some of the latest Bollywood numbers that left the
crowd on their feet and asking for more. The final performer for the night was
none other than iconic and evergreen Usha Uthup, the woman with a powerful
voice, whose performance set the stage on fire.
Talking
about the event, Jyoti Sagar, Founder Trustee of Genesis Foundation said, “What wonderful performances we had this year
at KasauliRnB! Prema and I are delighted as music-lovers and immensely grateful

Festival. Here’s to many more years of the KasauliRnB!”
