On the occasion of “BAISAKHI”, 13th April
2021, GGDSD College, Kheri Gurna, Banur, organized an Online Webinar. Prof.
(Dr.) Paramvir Singh from Department of Encylopedia of Sikhism, Punjabi
University, Patiala was the keynote
speaker. He enlighted all the faculty members and students with his vast
knowledge about Punjabi culture and highlighted about the significance of
Baisakhi festival. College Principal, Prof.(Dr). Rama Arora, also shared her
views on the importance of Baisakhi festival and appreciated the efforts of
History Department for organizing the event. Dr. Jaswinder Kaur, started the
event with a welcome address and presented a powerpoint presentation about the
festival. All the staff members and students of the college attended the
webinar with great enthusiasm.The event was well organized by Dr. Jaswinder
Kaur (Coordinator) and her team members Dr.Sugandha Chibbar ,Mrs Geeta Kocher
and Mrs. Prerna sharma.
