The Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi organized a Classical Music concert of Swar Ragini Recital by eminent virtuoso Subhash ghosh at Tagore Theatre here today. Sh. Ghosh is a foremost disciple of Padmavibhushan Ustad Amjad Ali Khan Sahib. He has invented two musical instruments including Sarasvani and “Swar Ragini” and has performed extensively in India and abroad.
Today’s concert commenced after a welcome of the Chief Guest Sh. Anurag Aggarwal, IAS, Secretary Home and Culture by Sh. Kamal Arora, Chairman CSNA, who honoured the artists. 
Sh. Ghosh commenced the recital with alaap, Jod alaap of Raga Bageshari and presented four compositions in different lya and patterns. These were Vilamgat in jhaptal, Madhya lyagat in teental, dhrut lyagat in ektal and also in teental. He concluded the recital with a jazz fussion. Ghosh was accompanied by Mehmod Khan and Avirbhav Verma on Tabla and Manish Kumar on Keyboard. Kamal Arora expressed gratitude to artists and audience.
