Chandigarh 15th Feb. 2017 : ‘Synthesis: Blending Ideas, Shaping Vision’ -- A Social Sciences Discussion Forum of DAV College, Sector 10, Chandigarh organized talks on 15 February 2017. The first talk on “Challenging Future by Using Systematic Investment Plan for Life” was delivered by Dr. Sandeep Singh Chhatwal, MD Omni Clinics and Diagnostics, Chd and Founder of Project Nanhi Jaan, NGO Veeranwali Foundation. He, very philosophically, guided the students towards better living through the concept of SIP (Security, Integrity and Purpose) and how we can bring our life on the right track.
The other talk on ‘Enhancing Employability” was delivered by Dr. A.K.Saihjpal, Advisor Distance Learning and Examination, PTU Jalandhar and Director, State Bank of Patiala. He focused on the mission of ‘SAMKALP’ and guided the students towards better strategies to ace the civil services examinations. He asserts that by preparing for Civil Services Examination with Zeal and commitment, one can enhance employability in other competitive exams as well.
Both the speakers caught the interest of the audience by focusing on the practical aspects of life. The event was a great success as students were geared up with enthusiasm and positive attitude to face the competitive world.
