MCM DAV College For Women organised farewell to bid adieu to its outgoing hostellers and students in two different functions. Singer-actor Harish Verma was the celebrity on the occasion of Hostel Farewell and mesmerised the audience with his performance. On the occasion of College
Farewell, the foreign students of the college who excelled in academics were
felicitated. Cultural extravaganza marked both the occasions, with an array of
enthralling dance performances, music and fun games that captivated the
students as they tried to make the most of the precious moments before bidding
adieu to the college. Applauding the spectacular show put up by the students,
the guests were all praises for the superlative talent nurtured at MCM. The
functions also saw confident young girls walking down the ramp competing for
the coveted Ms. MCM Hostel and Ms. MCM crowns. Mehak (BSc MFT) was crowned
Ms.MCM Hostel while Sonali (BA) was adjudged 1st Runner up and Jasmine (BBA)
was declared 2nd Runner up. During the College Farewell, Simar Bhatia (BA) took
away the Ms. MCM crown, Gazelle (BA) was chosen 1st Runner up and Riya Malhotra
(BA) won the 2nd Runner up title in the Undergraduate category. In the
Postgraduate category, the crown of Ms. MCM went to Divya Thakur (MA), Priyanka
Gulati (M.Com) bagged the 1st Runner up title and Divya Singh (MA) was adjudged
2nd Runner up.
MCM Principal Dr. Nisha Bhargava
wished the outgoing students success and glory in life and prodded them to
observe the revered value system inculcated in them during their college years.
