By hosting over 40 top notch companies from various sectors in a single day at one place, Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, Near Chandigarh has again set a landmark for the job seekers of Chandigarh Region.
In the financial year of 2017-18, Aryans has hosted 478 corporates at its campus in various job fests held time to time at its campus for the placement of not only of its own students but for the other students of other Institutions also.Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group while addressing the job seekers said that there is no dearth of Jobs but there is shortage of skilled & trained youth in Indian Job sectors. Kataria added that Average salary hikes in India was among the highest in the world, at 10%, compared with other developed markets (Japan 2%, US 3% and UK 2.9%) and emerging markets (China 7%).
Kataria further added that India has more than 1.5 million schools with over 260 million students enrolled and about 751 universities and 35,539 colleges accounting for one of the largest higher education systems in the world but there’s requirement of lot of skilled youth to meet the demand of the industry.102 suitable candidates out of around 1600 candidates got shortlisted by various companies. Planet Blu, Genpact, Paytm, Mechlin Technologies, Telecom Network Services, optra Automation, Diala Bank were among the top companies where heavy rush was witnessed.
