:    With the divine blessings of Her Holiness Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji Maharaj,  Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation organized a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp at Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, MauliJagran in Manimajra , here today.
Despite scorching heat , devotees from all sections of society participated with great enthusiasm in the camp to spread the message of Nirankari Baba Hardev Singh Ji that “Blood should flow in veins and not in drains” and  Satguru Mata Savinder Hardev Ji messaged that  "Blood donation is a spiritual movement dedicated to human welfare."
The camp was inaugurated by Dr Rakesh Kashyap, Director, Health Services and Family Welfare, Chandigarh Administration. Speaking on the occasion he  said: “It is heartening to learn that Nirankari Mission has emerged as world’s No.1 religious organisation in terms of voluntary blood donation.”
Sant Nirankari Mandal, Chandigarh Zonal Incharge, Dr. B. S. Cheema  welcomed Dr Rakesh Kashyap , Director, Health Services and Family Welfare, Chandigarh,  Dr Arun Bansal Senior Medical Officer, Civil Hospital, Manimajra . While addressing donors he said: “In our current year’s campaign which began on 24 April this year, 1289 units of blood have been collected in 5 events.
 Sant Nirankari Mission, Manimajra Branch Mukhi  Mr. Devinder Kumar  Bhajni said that 273 devotees including 42 women  of the Sant Nirankari Mission donated their blood voluntarily. He thanked all the dignitaries, donors and said   that this noble act gives satisfaction to the donor and the patient as well.
PGI, Transfusion Medicine Department, Senior Resident  Dr.  Pramata Tripathi who headed a 20-member technical team said: “The level of self-motivation in Nirankari devotees is par excellence.”

Additional  Zonal Incharge  Dr. J. K. Cheema, Sh. Atam Prakash Khetriya Sanchalak  , Sh. Kuldeep Singh Sanyojak Panchkula  were also bestowed their blessings to the donors .
