"Nothing could be so much devastating and heartbreaking if a covid patient has to lose his life and battle with covid due to scarcity of oxygen, timely medical support or denial of plasma or a bed in the hospital. Unfortunately, this is the sad plight of the entire country today, and the scenario in the pink city also looks very grim and indifferent. As the diabolic wave of the pandemic continues to engulf several lives, the need for medical assistance and oxygen is rising exponentially too.
Hence, to save lives and protect the people of Jaipur from facing this scary situation, IIEC, INDIAN INNOVATION & ENTREPRENEURSHIP COMMUNITY, headed by Jaipur based philanthropist and educationist, Mr Vimal Daga has launched ."SERVE HUMANITY" and launched FREE ISOLATION AND OXYGEN FACILITY CENTRE, The centre aims to lessen the burden on health infrastructure in Jaipur and offer free Isolation and Oxygen facility and hygienic food along with the medical care under the supervision of the medical team. This Centre remains operational round the clock and provides free service, informs Mr Vimal Daga.
IIEC has launched this initiative after obtaining permission from the Medical Department of Rajasthan and CMHO, GOVT OF RAJASTHAN. IEC with support from SHRI JAIN SWETAMBER KHARTARGACH SANGH, JAIPUR along with Dr Vikram Yadav, Mr Umesh Moolrajani & Mr Varun Maloo as members with us on this initiative of Serve Humanity - IIEC DOT and frontline workers including nurses are trying to create a protective barrier against the virus and to be successful in their mission of healing people of Jaipur they are working round the clock, This noble initiative has Selfless support and ceaseless efforts of 600+ dedicated IIEC DOT volunteers. Oxygen remains the most important weapon to fight covid and prevent mortality. Oxygen Concentrator Facilities set up by IIEC is completely free of Cost facility for all the covid affected people and is set up in the heart of Jaipur at Vichakshan Yatri Niwas, Trimurti Circle, J.L. In addition to this IIEC is also sending Oxygen concentrators at homes of Covid patients, who need to be isolated at home but supply of oxygen remains a major cause of concern.
Mr Vimal Daga further informs, "This initiative comes at a time when health infrastructure comes under intense pressure due to a sudden surge of this deadly wave of Covid 19 and in this second wave of covid 19, scarcity of Oxygen remains the most important weapon to fight covid and prevent mortality.
Preeti Daga, Co-Founder, IIEC and PHILANTHROPIST, Says, "We do not want to see a scenario in Jaipur where patients are running from pillar to post to save their lives only because they are unable to get oxygen and medical assistance, isolation facility, hence came the idea of this facility centre. Although we are not from the medical profession still we have managed to pull this through for saving lives, I would like to appeal to people to come forward and extend support to hospitals and covid patients by whatever means they can. This is a mission for us to save every life that needs oxygen. During the first wave of Covid awareness, preventive treatment, immunity, free medical support, nutritious meals were very important but now in the second wave supply of oxygen is most crucial.
This relief initiative is also being rolled out across India as volunteers associated with IIEC are reaching out to cities like Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai for helping covid patients. As part of the initiative, extensive awareness drives are being organised across different states of India.
