Chd. Police and AHTU jointly organized a nukkad meeting to aware illegal activities

Chandigarh 20th Sept.2016 : Chandigarh Women Police Station & Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) jointly organized a nukkad meeting at ISBT- 43, wherein approximately 150 persons including vendors, drivers of auto rickshaws, cycle rickshaws and taxi attended the camp. Insp Gurjeet Kaur SHO/Women Police Station made aware the audience about burning issue of illegal activities in the society. They all were sensitized to share information with the police about any illegal activities like exploitation of women & Children by employing them, pushing them for begging & prostitution etc. by making false promises.  The public can contact the Anti Human Trafficking Unit (AHTU) and Women Police Station to share the information on phone No 0172-2704100, 1091 and 2700448.
