Mumbai : The track of Sony SAB’s Tenali Rama is becoming interesting day by day. When all seems well finally with the challenges and hurdles in the path of Rama reaching their culmination, there is a twist to the story.Tenali Rama faces another challenge which will turn out to be more challenging than he expected.
Tirumala’s mom falls seriously ill and she along with Krishnadevraya go to see her. King Krishnadevraya decides to appoint Tathacharya as the next Taktalik Maharaj (a temporary king in absence of Krishnadevraya). The king informs the same to Rama and Timarasu. Meanwhile an Aghori Baba (a saint) meets Tathacharya and claims that he can see the future and can predict it accurately. He predicts that Tathacharya will soon become the King of Vijay Nagar. In the meantime, Tathacharya gets to know to the news of him becoming the Taktalik Maharaj from Rama and Timarasu. Tathacharya is shocked & happy at the same time.
Overjoyed Tathacharya immediately announces that Aghori baba will become the Acharya in the darbaar. That’s when Tenali’s life takes a complete u turn. Aghori baba tricks Rama in a case and a Mrityu dand (Death sentence) is announced for Rama .Aghori baba announces that Rama’s head will be crushed by an elephant. Rama is sent to jail till the punishment is executed..
Commenting on the track, Krishna Bharadwaj who plays Tenali Rama said, “It’s true that the challenges are never ending in the life of Rama. Now because of the foolishness of Tathacharya Rama has to face prison along with Mrityudand, the death penalty. But it will also be interesting to see if Rama will be saved or will fall into another evil trap.”
